Trouvailles de dîner de milieu de l'été et samedi de brocante à domicile de matin

Just as Saturday morning garage sales are a tradition in our family, so is Midsummer Nights' Dinner which we have every June 23rd. We light votive candles, have tea cakes and enjoy the beautiful weather. It's something we've done for years since I was a child, and it's a tradition I hope to pass down to my own children some day.

And, as promised, I have posted my Saturday morning garage sale finds...

Mum and I found beautiful handmade lace, a glass apothecary jar which I filled with seashells, a set of French pink note cards and a few movies with Sandra Bullock (my favourite actress!)..."Practical Magic" and "The Net". We're having a movie night this Friday and I think we'll be making it a "Sandra Bullock" night!

What a lovely tradition.
Practical Magic is one of my favorite movies. Have you seen the Lake House yet?
Love Sandra Bullock.
I saw Marisa Tomei and Geena Davis at the Santa Monica Flea Market yesterday. Check my blog to see the flea market.
Love your blog as always,
Rosemary

As always you managed to find some fun things. The lace is lovely, it looks like tape lace, and is very collectible.
Enjoy your movie night..!

I love the family tradition that you all share...I think that it's lovely, and a wonderful idea.

Your finds are great...there's little more fun than yard sales! "The Net" is one of our favorite movies!

Have a good week,

Andrea

Movie nights are fantastic! I have seen Practical Magic, it is cute!! If you like girl movies, you might like Divine Secrets of the YaYa Sisterhood, that one was good...
Have a fun weekend!
