It feels like I have been away for so long. In the past five days we have celebrated my brother's birthday, I have been working everyday from 9am-almost 8 pm, I have been doing researching on the side and have had no time to blog or create...two things I love! So, I have nothing to post or share, except a picture of Ben...who sends all his love to Nature Girl, who lost her beloved cat, Freddi, last night. Our pets are such a huge part of our lives and through blogging we get to share stories and photos of special times and memories that we have with them. Because we can relate to how much our pets mean to us, we can also relate to the deep sorrow we feel when one passes. I think it's helpful to know that other people send their blessings and thoughts during these times...and I'm sending mine Nature Girl's way...
"I love cats because I enjoy my home; and little by little, they become its visible soul"
--Jean Cocteau, French poet and filmmaker

Hi Kate,
You are working too much!
Your dog is so cute.
So sorry about the kitty. It is so sad when you lose a pet.
I have always had cats until the last one died. It was really awful.
My daughter has 4 cats though.
I have missed your blog lately.
Have a nice evening.

Kate,
Take a day off!!! Blogging mustn't be neglected. he he
Yes, NG's Freddi will be sorely missed by her. It is too bad. I feel for her. When I lost my cat (I wasn't even living at home, I had long since moved out) I cried for about 4 days. I feel ashamed right now that I haven't even thought of her in a long time. Thank you for the reminder, they are indeed family members.

Your dog is so sweet! I never knew how much dogs and cats mean to us until I had my own dear Beau.

Going over to Nature Girl's now.:(

Our pets are a valuable part of our families aren't they.
Knowing how much she loves him, I'm sure this picture of Ben will comfort NG.

I so understand about your schedule...I feel like I've been such a second-rate blogger the past few weeks because of work. Not enough time for posts or comments.

We lost our cat, Simon, in the spring and our beloved dog Goldie a few years ago, and it was heartbreaking. I'm so sorry to hear of NG's loss.

I hope that you have some relaxation coming your way!
