This past weekend, mum and I visited the gift section of our local Chapters bookstore, and came across some of the most elegant and beautiful items. First up was Papyrus glitter tissue paper...c'est manifique! Papyrus is one of my favourite companies, and has the most spectacular and inspirational stationery, cards, wrap, invitations, entertaining and gift ideas. Then, we found a beautiful teal and silver gift wrap from the same company...perfect for last minute gift wrapping. And lastly, we came across a silver tin filled with vintage-inspired papillon (butterfly) postcards with the words 'Carte Postale' written on the back designed by Cavallini & Co., another favourite.
So, the next time you're all out shopping for presents, keep these companies in mind...you're sure to be inspired to order their latest products. And, if the birthday girl (or boy) doesn't like their gift, they're sure to LOVE the wrapping paper!!

Hi came across your blog from Maggie's writing with my heart and soul blog. Very pretty things indeed! I love Cavallini and Comp. as well. I also have a weakness for wrapping paper. Thanks for letting me visit! cherry
Wow...lovely...thanks for the links
Such pretty gift wrap! Your blog is always such a delight. I just posted a mini tut on the frayed flowers you commented on if you'd like to take a peek.
I love all their beautiful things.
Papyrus is one of my favorite card shops in the USA.
I love fine cards, stationery and all the things to send beautiful exquisite letters.

Hi French Nest,
Lovely paper things indeed!
Have you ever made paper? It easy and fun to do. Years ago I made the paper for my cards and such from the "junk" mail that came to my house. I used my pressed flowers and my drawings to decorate my paper. So fun.
Living the artfilled life is also living the fun filled life.
You and your Mum seem to have lots of fun.
Please shake Ben's paw for me.
